It was a good day at the Hoylake boating lake, the weather was good although a bit breezy earlier on but the sun was out and not a drop of rain in sight. Over the afternoon up to 40 people came along either to sail their yachts or just to sit and watch them being sailed. A delightful afternoon. Former Star Yacht Factory owner, Frank Denye and his wife Teresa came along with Frank sailing several of his yachts. People who turned up and didn't have a yacht were offered the loan of one to have that "Star experience".

Over in the North East at Bishop Aukland, Kelso and Ann Yuill held a fund raising day for their local primary school by having a Star yacht experience in their garden
